Everyone who keeps hamsters as a pet knows hamsters can drink from cage attached water bottles but not everyone knows they can drink out of a bowl. So if you are having issues getting your pet hamster to drink from a bottle you can consider using a bowl. If you decide to use a bowl you must scrub and change it out each day.

What i would recommend doing is putting the bowl under the water bottle so it collects the drips so your hamster has options it can drink out of the bowl or the water bottle. Leaving a water bowl unattended with a hamster is risky as they might accidentally get wet and then their body temperature might fall putting them at risk for serious illness. However since they are so active the water bowl gets dirty rapidly which is why bottles are the preferred means of providing water. Hamsters can drink out of a bowl.
Hamsters can drink from a bowl. They will also spill it making the bedding wet which is a breeding ground for mold.
