Even the freshest of juices contain almost no fiber and only some of the nutrients from the fruit while leaving you with a concentrated source of sugar and water. A glass of them once in a while when you otherwise keep your carbs low or have them pretty much eliminated should not have a harmful effect on your keto diet. Sometimes we have it in salads stews soups and of course desserts. The sugar content in fruit juice is too high so all juices will kick you out of ketosis.
This juice is not keto friendly and should not be included in the ketogenic diet. The vitamins you can get from the juice are healthy. Fruit juice is typically loaded with sugar making it inappropriate for the keto diet. Orange juice makes up about 25 5 grams of net carbohydrates per 1 cup 8 fluid ounces 248 grams which makes it a beverage that is very difficult to fit into the standard or low carb ketogenic diet.
Most diet sodas and beverages sweetened with sugar substitutes have zero grams of carbs. Milk 12 grams per cup beer 13 grams per can soy milk 15 grams per cup kombucha tea 10 15 grams per serving orange juice 26 grams per cup regular soda 39 grams per can of coke energy drink 40 grams per can of red bull frappuccino 50 grams in a tall. Carrot juice for example contains almost 22 grams of carbohydrates. But when you look at it from a ketogenic point of view just a small amount of orange juice will kick you out of ketosis.
