It s great for getting your utensils nice and shiny for eating but isn t apt for your car. Car wash soap is designed to keep wax on your vehicle and is not harsh on your paint. Make sure the soap has a base of vegetable oil. The work of dish soap is to remove oil from your dishes.

It does not only break down your car wax but it is also tough on rubber. You can clean it yourself with a hose sponge and a bucket. In a nutshell you can but you really shouldn t. Will using dish washing soap damage your cars wax or sealant protection.
