Slow Cooker Pork And Sauerkraut With Apples

Arrange apples and onion in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Place the apples on top of sauerkraut and sprinkle cinnamon on top of the entire mixture. Layer 1 2 of the sauerkraut 1 2 of the onion slices sprinkle 1 2 of the caraway seeds and 1 2 of the apples on the bottom of the crock pot. Shred or slice and serve with plenty of the sauerkraut mixture on top. Pour the undrained sauerkraut on top of and around the roast.
Mix together the sauerkraut brown sugar mustard and apples in a large bowl and toss well. Put the potatoes and apple juice in the slow cooker. Add in apples onions and garlic around pork loin. In a large bowl combine the sauerkraut chopped onion sliced apple maple syrup and brown sugar.
Layer the remaining ingredients including the juice from sauerkraut. Spread it evenly over the pork roast. Add apple juice to slow cooker. Pour in enough water to cover bottom of the slow cooker crock.

Wash and pierce potatoes once and arrange around the roast. Add onions and garlic on top of the roast. To prevent the edges of the pork chops from curling cut two 1 inch slits at each end.
