Smith and wesson s 5 56 m p 15 is one of the top offerings in the out of the box ar 15 market. Smith and wesson has made a name for themselves with their long standing production of quality wheelguns but since 2006 they ve also been producing quality ar 15 style rifles i recently picked up an affordably priced m p15 sport and took it out for a spin. Building on the success and feedback generated by the m p 15 sport the next generation now has both a forward assist and dust cover. Plus with the purchase i got a 100 buck mag loader free from smith wesson and absolutely love it added a red dot and a torch and laser ran the first 100 rounds with american eagle 55 grain 223 with no glitch at all bought some extra magpul mags this is one sweet little rifle i don t need all that high priced.
The m p 15 sport ar15 ii is an excellent choice for your first ar15 or if you just want an ar 15 that you don t have to spend a ton of money on.
