This breakfast cake is adapted from ina garten s sour cream coffee cake recipe.

In a small bowl whisk together sour cream and baking soda. In the same now batter free bowl combine both sugars flour and cinnamon. Whisk in melted butter. Thick greek yogurt works instead of sour cream.

To make the topping. Combine all of the topping ingredients stirring until evenly crumbly. It should form a crumbly mixture. To make the crumb topping combine sugars cinnamon and salt in a medium bowl.

Butter and flour a 9 inch nonstick tube pan. This recipe can easily be made in a 9 5 loaf pan and baked for around 40 minutes. Super moist without being overly sweet. Dollop the rest of your cake batter on top of your filling using a spatula to spread the batter across the pan.
