The process of changing your belly button ring is simple and painless once your piercing heals.
My piercer said it takes anywhere from 3 12 months. The next week or month your navel piercing will show signs and symptoms of healing again such as redness or swelling. On the paper that the piercer gave me it said i can change jewelry in 2 3 weeks. It s already december and i m thinking of changing it by next week but i feel like it s too soon.
A month is not enough. You might think it s safe to change your belly ring for it to then become swollen or have some redness around the belly button. Wait to change your ring until the end of the normal healing period for navel piercings. Lets just say i waited 1 1 2 months before changing it.
