Slow cook for 4 5 hours or on low for 7 8 hours.
Stir to dissolve bouillon and cover. Add ground beef and onion and cook until beef is well browned and crumbled. Cook on high for 4 hours. Drain fat and transfer beef to a slow cooker.
For variety we also love to make this slow cooker vegetable beef soup with cabbage. Drain the grease and add the beef and onion to a 5 quart crockpot. Add tomato puree parsley marjoram and vegetable stock. To your slow cooker add chopped cabbage diced potatoes chopped celery carrots and onions.
Add the celery carrot garlic cabbage beef broth italian seasoning and salt to the crockpot and cover. Add in the tomato paste. Chop the cabbage into bite sized pieces then add it with the carrots and potatoes. Place all of the vegetables in the bottom of the slow cooker base.
